Meet the TurnDogs Team!

Christina Turner - Owner, Agility Instructor
Christina started training her first dog, Skecher when she was 10 years old and started competing in agility by the age of 12. She has been fortunate to have many opportunities in the dog industry and has worked in dog boarding, daycare, training and veterinary care. Along the way Christina has had great mentors that have each helped to shape her training techniques. While agility training has always been the focus, Christina has also trained and competed with her dogs in obedience, rally, conformation, dock diving, frisbee and fast cat. Christina firmly believes in positive based training and having a good relationship with your dog. Maintaining a positive learning environment for both humans and dogs is high on the list for TurnDogs. TurnDogs encourages all students to enjoy their dogs and bring out the best in them as well as enjoying the community of people.

Regina Conti - Agility Instructor
“My love of dogs started in my childhood, having grown up with Golden Retrievers and Labs. My introduction to Agility came later in life when I adopted Willow “Lowrida”, my Border Collie mix. Willow was shy, timid and was a little uneasy around strangers. I set out to find a “job” where she could learn to be confident. A friend suggested Agility, that it would be a great way for her to find her confidence. Agility allowed her to successful in her “job” and to find her own way to being less uneasy in the world. Not only to Willow find her way, but I did as well!
I started with weekly classes just for fun, but along the way, I met incredible people who encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone and try agility competitions. I've been hooked ever since. My first agility competitions were in CPE, but now I have moved to a variety of different Agility disciplines including USDAA, UKI and sometimes AKC. My training mantra is to be positive, reward-based training, shaping with praise! My goal is for every student to leave with a smile and every dog to leave with a wagging tail. I love watching dog and handler teams grow together, especially those who remind me of my journey with Willow. Beyond Agility, I enjoy exploring other dog sports like Dock Diving, Lure Coursing, Fast CAT, and Barn Hunt. At home, I’m lucky to share my life with four amazing dogs—Willow, Fenway, Starr, and Nova.”
